“I graduated from the prestigious Koret School of Veterinary Medicine at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and have been practicing veterinary medicine in the Bay Area since 1998. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work across many areas of veterinary medicine, including shelter medicine, high-volume spay and neuter, dentistry, surgery, and general practice. I am also certified in veterinary acupuncture and remain committed to lifelong continuing education.
My journey into feline medicine happened somewhat by chance—and quickly became my calling. There is something uniquely rewarding about practicing medicine for cats. They are intelligent, complex, and wonderfully individual, and caring for them often requires patience, curiosity, creativity, and a little bit of detective work. I love the challenge, mystery, and even the occasional magic that comes with feline medicine.
At Cheshire Cat Clinic, my goal is to provide every cat with thoughtful, individualized care that considers not only their medical needs, but also their personality, behavior, and the needs of their family. I’m incredibly proud to have created a space where cats can receive high-quality veterinary care in an environment designed specifically for them.” Nama Atid, DVM.
We are incredibly lucky to have a veterinarian who truly cares—not only about her patients, but about the people and team behind every visit. She takes the time to genuinely know her clients, understand their concerns, and build lasting relationships rooted in trust. She takes immense pride in her work, the team she has thoughtfully built, and the welcoming, compassionate atmosphere she has created at Cheshire Cat Clinic. She is deeply dedicated to every patient who walks through our doors and has a true gift for making cats feel safe, comfortable, and understood. Most importantly, she makes sure every client leaves their appointment with clarity, confidence, and the support they need to care for their cat.
Cats have unique behavioral, nutritional, and medical needs. At Cheshire Cat Clinic, everything we do is centered around those differences.
We use fear-reducing and low-stress handling techniques to help make veterinary visits as comfortable as possible. Our equipment and treatment protocols are specifically selected with feline patients in mind, and we offer medications and treatment options that are practical and easier for families to administer at home.
Most importantly, our entire team genuinely loves cats.
We are an independently owned, community-focused practice, and we believe veterinary medicine is about more than treating illness. It’s about building lasting relationships with our clients, getting to know each individual cat, educating families, and making thoughtful decisions together.
It is a privilege to care for your cats and their families, and I’m grateful every day that feline medicine has led me to where I am today.
